Normal wear and aging is to be expected. All items should be inspected at time of delivery and any damage reported to the shipping agency. This edition of Serenade, made right after WWII, is a charmer. But it is proof you should never bid at an auction on something you never previewed.....It has been broken and repaired.It displays very well and the repair (at the knees) is only visible by very close inspection.
So this is being sold at a considerable loss. This is an ideal piece to be professionally restored. It is about 5 inches in height.
